MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SOUGHT
The South Island Masters Games is a sporting and social experience not to be missed. It has been held for 18 years (each second year in Timaru).
The Board of South Island Masters Games Inc. (SIMG Inc.) are undertaking a review of the on-going management arrangements for the 2020 and 2022 games to be held in Timaru. The goal being to transform the masters’ games into a refreshed, sustainable “experience event” that delivers significant economic and social benefits to the Timaru District. As a consequence, the Board are seeking expressions of interest and associated p.a. pricing from interested parties who have the proven ability to deliver the following components of SIMG Inc. games management for 2020 and 2022. Expressions of interests for ALL or any component of the management agreement will be considered. Ideally one provider of ALL four management components is preferred, however the Board will consider up to a maximum of two providers to deliver such services (see below). Joint partner collaborative provider expressions of interests are welcomed.

Thank you everyone for a great games in Timaru 2018 Thank you so much to everyone that joined us in Timaru for the 2018 South Island Masters Games! It was another blast. Blessed with good weather (well apart from one day), the Games was a rip-roaring success.

About the South Island Masters Games
Proving age is no barrier to participating, the Games hosts 30+ sports which attract thousands of competitiors aged up to 95 and beyond from all over the South Island.
The goal of the Masters Games is to encourage participation in sport where camaraderie and competition are equally celebrated. People compete for various reasons whether it is to stand on the podium, improve their personal best, catch up with friends and enjoy the social atmosphere.
For most sports there is no qualification criteria other than age. That means anyone can compete - either to win or simply have fun.
